I am very pleased to announce that M@ Kuperholz has joined the Faculty of Business and Economics as an Honorary Enterprise Professor. M@ is an FBE Alum and a leading AI expert and Data Scientist with a wealth of industry experience.
M@'s connection with FBE began with a BComm with a double major in Actuarial Science and Computer Science. With this interdisciplinary foundation, M@ integrates theoretical knowledge and practical application in data, digital, and AI – including trust, responsibility, and the governance of AI systems.
M@'s tenure at Deloitte and PwC illustrate his thought leadership in the field of analytics and data science. As Partner and Chief Data Scientist at PwC, M@ worked at the nexus of data analytics and strategic business decision-making, and continues to be at the cutting edge of AI, data science, and business analytics application and development.
M@ also led the global Responsible AI program for PwC from 2017 to 2022, innovating, developing and delivering solutions for ensuring AI bias was understood, transparency and explainability were maximised, and that solutions were robust, secure, safe and in line with the appropriate ethical and regulatory overlays.
